Give up New Year’s resolutions – Grab on to New Year’s aspirations.

Welcome 2009.  So long 2008.  Now’s the perfect time to let Asst-Based Thinking help you decide what you want to   experience, create and achieve in 2009.  If you forget making your new year’s resolutions list and concentrate on making your new year’s aspirations list, you’ll be doing yourself a big favor.  Think of it this way, resolutions are aimed at correcting or forming habits.  Resolutions remind you of what you should be doing. Aspirations on the other hand unleash your deepest passions and desires.  Aspirations inspire you to do what you want to be doing.

Grab onto new year’s aspirations and hold on tight for your best year ever in 2009!

Great reminder about aspirations vs resolutions. I also call my aspirations my “bucket list.”

This is a good insight, aspirations rather than resolutions can really make one reach out for more!

    Thanx for sharing.

I have been talking with colleagues lately about moving past goals to aspirations. Goals can be shallow, limiting, and even trigger fight or flight. Aspirations are inspiring, compelling, and more emergent.
