Just did a post on James Patterson’s readkiddoread.com. It discusses a great NPR broadcast about the power and enjoyment of reading as a fundamental building block in helping to shape and develop our next generation. Definitely an ABT mindset that we like a lot, especially since our teen book will be hitting the shelves soon. The story I listened to featured Dave Barry’s new book Science Fair and host Scott Simon and Dave Barry brought parts of the book to life in a visit with the kids of Ms. Wilson’s science class at Cutler Ridge Middle School outside of Miami, Fla.
A great podcast and a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience. Check it out. NPR should feature ReadKiddoRead on one of their upcoming shows. And remember. Great parents give kids good books.
