Asset-Based Thinking - At Work In The Workplace

I thought I’d use today’s blog to do a little bragging about The Concept Farm and provide some examples of ABT in Action in the workplace. First, the bragging. This week, The Concept Farm was named one of the Top 20 Best Places to Work in New York City by Crain’s New York Business.

Among small businesses The Concept Farm was ranked number 7! Here’s a link to the Article.

Receiving this award means as much to us at The Farm as all the Emmy’s, Cannes Lions and Clios that we have received over the years. Here’s why. It is recognition and validation of three very important TCF pillars: Our Creative Mantra, ( “Fresh Ideas Harvested Daily” ) Our Culture, (Profits and People Matter, People Make TheĀ  Difference, Inclusive and Transparent Operations, Be Passionate and Compassionate) Our Principles, (Practice Corporate Social Responsibility in everything we do).

Like most businesses, The Concept Farm operates in a very competitive environment and times are particularly challenging right now…for us and our clients. We try very hard to keep all The Farmers working on the positive side of the business ledger and searching for the creative and business upsides. The ABT “5 to 1″ Rule (Spending five times the effort focused on assets and opportunities rather than deficits and problems) is alive and well at TCF.

Finally, as Branding experts, The Concept Farm advises its clients that successful long term Brand Building always begins “at home”. The Company and its employees must understand and ‘live” the values of the company before it can be effectively delivered to its consumers and customers

Thanks to all The Farmers and their ABT Mindsets that made this Award possible.

Hank
